If you have any questions or want to chat beforehand, just email teens@teensunite.org or call 01992 440091.
Our activities and events are completely FREE of charge to attend, and you usually get to enjoy lunch/ refreshments too if it’s a face to face meet up.
Most of our face-to-face activities and events are held at venues in London and the South East and we can help with making appropriate travel arrangements.
Our digital sessions can be enjoyed from wherever you are, without the need to travel.
Teens Unite staff are always present at our activities and events, along with the expert hosting the session.
At our face-to-face meet ups, you can expect there to be around 10 young people depending on the activity. With our digital sessions, it’s the more the merrier!
We guarantee you’ll make new friends in no time at all! That’s what we do best! But we understand if you feel a little nervous, so you’re welcome to bring someone along to start with.
Of course, do let us know if you have a carer or additional support so we can accommodate this.
We don't restrict the number of activities and events that you can come along to. We encourage you to access our ongoing support as much as you need it - the more activities you join, the more people you'll meet, the more friends you'll make and the more skills you'll learn.
Occassionally, there may be a waiting list, depending on interest and capacity.
As soon as you’ve registered with Teens Unite, you can start joining in straight away!
You can do this online by clicking on the activity or event you would like to come along to in our calendar.
There's no limit to how long you can benefit from our support. We know the effects of cancer are long-term, so we're here for you through every stage of your battle, from diagnosis through to remission and beyond. We're flexible with your needs and understand that there will be times when you need us more than others - we're always here, however long you need us for.
Absolutely. To register with Teens Unite you need to be aged between 13-24, but you could have received your diagnosis at any age.
We are here to support you at any stage of your cancer battle, whether you have recently been diagnosed, undergoing treatment, in remission or beyond.
Detailed below are our events for Teens, Volunteers, Fundraising and Challenges.
I needed help and that's where Teens Unite came in. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the reason I met Teens Unite was to save my life.
With Teens Unite, I finally realised that I could climb out of this massive hole that I had been digging because I wasn't alone anymore.
If it wasn't for Teens Unite, I wouldn't be where I am now. They have been really supportive and given me the strength to push myself and not give up.
Volunteering with Teens Unite has changed my personality and outlook on life. When I hear all the amazing things the teens say about Teens Unite, I can tell they mean every word.
Teens Unite isn't just a charity to me, it was the beginning of restarting my life.
When Elliot started receiving the support of Teens Unite, I could see a change in him straightaway. His outlook on life was becoming positive again and I gained strength from seeing my little boy accepting what had happened and starting to move forward.
